Dec 3, 2017. #11. thanks for input all. I recently moved but couldn't find my press when unpacked back in march. Long story short I found it about a month ago in garage all rusty and locked up. It was an older rock chucker. I did soak it in krolls and eventually got it freed up but it does have some pitting.

Put a thin piece of cardboard on the bottom of the press, use a ballpien hammer (ball side) to lightly tap the outline of the press and the holes. You can call it a template or a gasket, your choice. If it were me, I would mount the plates. Set Rockchucker where I wanted it on the plates.

However I just saw that I can get the Lee Precision Breech Lock Challenger Kit for $127 or the Lee Precision 50th Anniversary Reloading Kit for $131.

The rock chucker is mounted sideways and a lube sizer mounted in it. This is for 38-45 cal bpcr bullets. I seldom use it as I now shoot as cast. The lyman gets used for case forming chores. For actual loading of rounds the coax summit or the 650s get the nod. The lyman can be set up to prime with a lee ram prime unit.

My Orange Crusher is quite a bit different than the OP. For one, it's a hammered gray colored paint. I'm assuming the newer models had a paint change, cause the box was labeled Orange Crusher. I bought it new, circa late 80's or early 90's. Set it up for strictly rifle cartridges. My RCBS JR was reserved for pistol and is a much older press.
