The spin drier was much quicker and more effective than the spin function on my washer-drier machine. The vertical barrel is more efficient. And yes there's a lot less creasing and fragile fabrics are fine. You can use them to rinse hand washing too. The spin dryer was as effective as a spin and an hour of tumble dry in my current washer-drier.
